Supermarket Together midweek patch

Hello! Some of this features were added as smaller hotfixes during previous days. Remember it’s important for all players to keep the version of the game updated to last patch so there are no synchronization issues. There are some notifications about most reported issues at the end of the post.

Supermarket together midweek patch

Changelog:

  • Added a new decoration: the Hanging Banner, you will be able to choose 15 different colors for it and set whatever text you want in it.

  • Important: related to previous point and since players will need keyboard for typing, to close the manager’s blackboard or the ceiling label menu players will now have to press escape or just press the newly created [X] button in interface. WASD won’t work anymore.

  • Implemented the use of numpad for setting prices. Still have to modify tutorial to mention the feature.

  • Players are now allowed to adjust FOV in options. Added a new volume slider as well to adjust TVs volume for the future. Fixed an issue in which a low FOV prevented correct manager’s blackboard visualization

  • Thiefs will drop now more than 1 item per hit depending on the amount of total items stolen.

  • Thiefs will no longer leave directly using the short path right to supermarket. They will roam around in the street outside a bit more.

  • Reduced the chance of thievery for single player games, for more thieves you can inflate difficulty.

  • Fixed an issue in which players could discover thieves before they would flee.

  • Tutorial being stuck on clients should be solved now. Separate clients would still need to do certain steps so they don’t miss anything like taking a box or leaning to use the manager blackboard.

  • Fixed an issue in which you could press the opening store button during nights to not avail but the notification popped up.

  • Fixed an issue in which pressing P while chatting would open the escape menu.

  • Minimized an issue in which you could have insane amounts of a product in a box.

  • Fixed an issue in which some employees would go through some storage walls.

  • Slightly adjusted given franchise experience down.

  • Brightness correction while in the store during nights has been tweaked (a bit more bright)

  • TVs no longer block players.

  • Fixed an issue in which special perks like hiring an employee did not use a franchise point.

  • Current day now shows in UI (the text right to current hour)

  • Fixed an issue in which cursor would disappear if you pressed escape while navigating the manager’s blackboard.

  • Fixed an issue in which player would get frame freezes when highlighting some furniture with the tablet.

  • Fixed an issue in which refunding items would also get franchise experience.

We are aware of the main most reported issues:

  1. That the state of public lobbies looks right now more like Mortal Kombat than a simulator. The tools for some control are in the making but they will require some time and testing on our side, for now there’s an unofficial Discord pinned in topics so you can get some buddies to do legal work with you.

  2. Some issues of game not saving. Until we can pinpoint the exact issue we will implement some features to mitigate this, including generation of backups per day (you will be able to return to the day the game worked correctly and that will gives us better feedback as we will be able to compare a working file with its bugged counterpart).

  3. Some few cases of game’s freezing when joining a store. While there could be some existing network problems that trigger with particular clients, always make sure that your external firewall or related security measures aren’t blocking the game’s communication with Steam. The classic “Windows Firewall has blocked some features of this app” when you first run an application could make the game not being able to communicate with Steam for lobby synchronization.
